I can (kind of) double tongue, but I have never found it to be useful,
mainly because I can single tongue faster than I can double tongue. (also, I
never really played pieces that required me to tongue that fast. The worst
piece I've ever played was the band version of Oberon - and that was wicked
fast!)

Anyway, I try to double tongue thinking "ta-ka" and triple tongue with
"ta-ka-ta."
