This is not perfect, and may give you tongue splinters or damage your reed
even if you do it "right", but I usually doubletongue by rapidly flicking my
tongue from *side to side* across the very tip of the reed. I'm not sure I
can come up with any polite analogue of another situation in which you would
move your tongue in this manner, so I guess you'll just have to work with
the way I've described it. =)
