To quote one of my favorite people on this listserv,
"Keep your mind open. Don't believe anyone but yourself. Don't be
swayed by emotion. Look for the facts, if indeed any exist."

I hope all who bother to read anything I write (which even I don't read
when it arrives) know that:
a) I like and use vibrato
b) I like and enjoy Dan's posts
c) I take to heart what Dan says
d) My position on if vibrato was used during Mozart's time (on the
clarinet) is
based only on the existing evidence..........but my position could
be easily
changed if evidence appears that shows absolutely that vibrato was
used
on the clarinet during that time!!!!

Now - I will clean this absolutely trashed office so that people can come
in and look around and say, who did you hire to clean this room to make
such a nice office??? Anyone want my 12 month old rejected reeds that keep
finding their way back to the trial table??????????
