Virtuoso clarinetist Jonathan Cohler and friends present a classical and
jazz extravaganza that features music from Schubert to Shaw. Come for a
wild ride! You'll delight to two of Benny Goodman's commissions: the
Copland Concerto and Morton Gould's Derivations for clarinet and big band,
you'll swing to the show-stopping Artie Shaw Concerto, you'll swoon to the
heart-stopping Shepherd on the Rock by Schubert, and you'll be dazzled by
the pyrotechnics of Weber's Quintet. Cohler is joined by soprano Andrea
Delgiudice, the Diabelli String Quartet, pianist Susan Shin, conductor
James Gaffigan, the Jonathan Cohler Big Band and the Clarinetissimo Chamber
Orchestra.
