My quick, knee-jerk answer is "NO!" If cork grease isn't solving the
problem, the likelihood is the exposed wood parts of the tenon and socket
are binding. You need expert advice from a good repair tech about what and
how much to do and when to do it. The problem may well get worse as summer
heat and humidity build. If you leave it alone and it keeps getting stuck,
you may pay a price in bent keys as you try to take it apart each time. If
too much wood is taken off or wood is taken from the wrong place, you'll end
up with permanently wobbly joints that thicker corks may not be able to
cure.

Good luck. It isn't an unusual problem, but it isn't one you should try to
remedy by yourself.
