Thanks, Ben, for you as-always useful information. I do have a portable DAT
deck but just haven't got organized to use it yet. It is not as intuitive
to use as the pro walkman. Perhaps with my present mike and the DAT I can
get something that is useful for my purposes, at least for getting a sense
of what I am doing if not an accurate representation. At some point it
would be fun, though, to have a proper home studio.

Glad to hear Mitchell is well. Yes, I also have the Hindemith and Reger
with the Muir Quartet -- another superb clarinet disc.
