Morceau de Salon Op 229 (1862) Schott (1867)
Colin Bradbury and Oliver Davies recorded it in 1978.
It was tranfered to CD in 1994, Clarinet Classics
CC 0008 (a 2-CD set)

Kalliwoda's middle name is variously given as
Wenzel, Wenzeslaus, Wenceslaus, Vaclav .
The Czechs claim him because he was born in Prague
so it might then be Jan Vaclav Kalivoda
tho' he spent more than 30 years working
in Germany.

Allen J. Levin asked about Kalliwoda on 22 March 2001 17:19

>On the radio, yesterday, I heard part of a performance described as
>"Morceau den salon" by (I think) Johann Ignaz Kalliwoda. It was a
>creditable performance on clarinet and piano; but I didn't recognize the
>names of the performers. Does anyone know of this piece? I'd like to try
it.
