In regards to your 1,800 barrel problem...

You COULD send the Yamaha barrel to someone like Clark Fobes or Robert
Scott and have them craft a duplicate...or be cheeky, and keep the Yamaha
barrel for yourself and order an inexpensive replacement (a Scott would
certainly be acceptable, I would think) and then sell the clarinet like
that. *grin*
