Subject: [kl] embouchure woes
Welcome back! I too have restarted after a 20 year absence from the
clarinet. Though I still have and play the same clarinet I used in school (a
Freeman M-100), I can't use the same MP setup I used years ago, just doesn't
work for me now. I have found the 2RV, Harrison lig, and a 2.5 VanDoren is
the current ticket for me now, but I'm still searching. I suggest just
trying different set ups (MP, lig, reed strengths) till you find that magic
combo. Also try different angles between the clarinet and your head. This
helped me a bit too.
