Don,

I have had excellent teaching recently -- a thorough review of my playing by
Howard Klug. At the time (about 9 months ago) I was not having this
problem. That's why I am quite puzzled by it. I don't think it's an issue
of improper approach to the embouchure, which I never had before. I suspect
some kind of neuro-muscular issue. Or perhaps I just need to play for a few
minutes a number of times a day and I will regain my strength.

Regarding accompanists, I had an excellent one about a year ago and could
play for about 90 minutes without too much difficulty. Hence my puzzlement
about the current problem, and my frustration in not being able to hang in
longer with my new accompanist.
