Gary,

This sounds like a book I should have! In the meantime, is there any way you
can explain briefly his main point? I actually don't think of smiling when
I play, but the muscles around the mouth still need to support the reed, and
some of these muscles are the ones that also are involved in smiling. So I
was making reference to what muscles seem to get fatigued earliest, rather
than my style of embouchure. However, I can try to pay attention to whether
in fact I can smile less and thereby reduce fatigue in these muscles.
