You have collected a number of links but I'd like to suggest you another

At the bottom of the page there is a table with the range of musical
instruments on a piano keyboard, with both note name and frequency.

You could take a look at John R. Pierce "The Science of Musical Sound". It
is a very good book and I think it would be a great support for your kid's
science experiment. Good luck!
