I know some people who swear by them and others who can't stand them. I've
personally never had a great deal of luck with them, but that doesn't mean
you won't! Their advantage, as I understand it, is that they don't warp or
change in any way with temperature/mositure changes (as wooden barrels can)=

making them a good choice if you live in a hot and/or humid environment
(since the barrel is the most susceptible to moisture damage due to its
closeness to the source of the moisture@-----. But then again, you ma=
