Stewart Kiritz was asking about a book of interesting clarinet solos from the
orchestral
repertoire. In addition to Gary's suggestions, I would invite you to look at

unaccompanied clarinet and woodwind duets that uses complete orchestral
works, many of which you will find in your excerpt books. You can play the
clarinet solos plus everyone else's, all in the context of the entire piece.
The music treated this way turns out satisfying and challenging to play.
