I recall seeing a favorable reference to the Waterson Clarinet Quartet (for
4 Bb clarinets?), but have not seen the music or heard a recording or
performance of the work. I haven't been able to find anything about
Waterson, such as full name or dates in my references.

Could anyone familiar with this piece give me some general information
about it to provide clues as to whether I would want to purchase it, such
as:

Approximate date of composition

Style of work, such as classical or romantic

Degree of difficulty

Quality - Obviously Waterson was no Beethoven, but is it at least
interesting music to play or is it really trivial?

Anything else you consider of interest about the work
