I remember my teacher in high school back in the 60's telling me that I
should listen to any recordings of David Glazer I could find. He called him
"Mr. Chamber Music" and said nobody played chamber music like Glazer. I
have some of his work with the New York Quintet and it is great. What a
player for the young ones of the fifties and sixties to hear. He was
certainly an inspiration for me back in my high school days.
