I have been a juvinille diabetic since I was five years old. If my blood
sugar level goes to high I get really thirsty. So, this could be a clue to
your problem. However, usually if you develop diabetes in the later part of
your life, you do not have juvinille, but Type II diabetes. This is most
commonly treated with pills and not insulin injections. Do you have other
factors that could lead to Type II diabetes.. are you overweight? are you and
excessive smoker? do you not excersise frequently at all? Type II diabetes is
very common, especially in older adult americans. You should get it checked,
even if you don't particularly think that is your problem. Like it was
mentioned before, most people don't recognize this disease until you are in a
hostpital emergency bed.
