I've missed the first part of this thread. Would it help to measure the
combined lengths of the upper and lower joints? For example, the combined
length of the upper and lower joints on my Buffet A clarinet is 19-5/8
inches, my Buffet Bb clarinet is 18-1/4 inches, and my Noblet C clarinet is
15-15/16 inches. Seems like this might provide some further insight.
