Steve - Diabetes is a serious condition and should NOT be diagnosed by anyone
except a doctor. The doctor will check on other symptoms, too. High blood
sugars do NOT necessarily mean you are diabetic. Diagnosing diabetes is not
done with only a simple blood test at any time. The diagnosis is fairly
complex. This is too serious for a guess by a non professional. You are
right that teens may develop Type 1 diabetes and it needs to be discovered
very quickly and professionally.
