Decaf tea might be OK; caffeine tends to be a diuretic, increasing the
dehydration problem.

nope...i'm in the southeast. plenty of rain, too.
and in repliance (ooo! i just make up a new word! we can do that in the
south you know.) to drinking cokes, i'm on a zero carbonation thing here. i
haven't had a carbonated beverage since last june (i is just SO good). i
might try the gatorade thing though. i wonder if tea will work?
