My thanks to those list members who responded to my recent enquiry on
plateau-keyed clarinets.

When I earlier searched the archives, I found many references to plateau
keyed instruments as a solution for children with small hands and fingers.

I wondered about the other end of the spectrum - people with larger fingers
which don't readily fit between the hardware without (say) glancing the
chromatic keys.

What do the teachers/instructors on the list typically recommend to
circumvent the finger-placement difficulties of those with apparently
over-large hands/fingers?
