Exciting stuff!

I realise that I have the copy of New Scientist containing the article
he mentions on his web page (9 September 00), but inexplicably didn't
read it when it came out. It gives a bit more detail than the web page
does.

I wonder if they'll manage to get the distortion down any further?

BTW, I also discovered that a regular subscription to New Scientist
gives you free access to all their back archives on the web, for anyone
who's interested.
