Hans Gillhaus has bought the firm and moved it to Au near Freiburg im Breisgau.
His daughter Christine designs and trys reeds. She studied with Dieter Klöcker
in Freiburg and was (is?) in an orchestra in Salzburg. The firm seems to have
become smaller with the move. By the way, Musik Gillhaus in Freiburg (founded by
Hans Gillhaus and now owned and run by Ulrich Schneider and others) is one of
the top addresses for clarinet work in Germany.

Frau Marianne Rickhoff (widow of Prof. Rickhof from Berlin Phil.) makes a
special cut of reed for Sabine Meyer. The brand is called Folietta. They also
make two different cuts of French style reeds. Her address:
