Subj: [kl] Kids say the darndest things!

Today, I was going over some new solos with a 6th grade girl who has been
my student for about 6 months. She tends to a whiner and is reluctant to
try new things. Often, she will tell me that it's she's confused or it's
too difficult. Today she came up with one that frankly tops the list.
While going over one of the new pieces she said, "I don't like that one,
it won't match the dress that I'm wearing for the performance?"

Please don't ask me to explain, I just thought it was one for the books.
