Another inexpensive camp that I've attended for 4 years or so now is the
Texas Tech Band and Orchestra Camp. It costs less than 400 for the camp
itself (airfare, etc., would probably be more... I live in Lubbock (where
Tech is) so I wouldn't know.. sorry). It's very laid back, and I can't
compare the level of music to the other camps (I do recall that third band
(out of ten high school) played that Court Jester song (I don't recall the
full title, sorry). It's only a week long, and I know plenty of people who
go to the Tech band camp and then to another. Just FYI:).

P.S. The site for Tech music camps is http://www.ttu.edu/MusicCamps/

Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp's Web site is at http://www.bluelake.org/ .

I am very familiar with both Blue Lake and Interlochen camps. Interlochen is
very competitive; Blue Lake a lot more laid back. Both are fine places; Blue
Lake is shorter and significantly less expensive.
