"Vocotone", along with "Lafayette, Paris", "Perfackton", "Perfection", "Henry Pourcelle, Paris", and "La Vesta" were trade names for imported instruments distributed by the Bruno Company of New York, between 1920 and sometime after 1950. The company (Bruno) was started in 1834 and started using trade names for imported instruments ("stencils") in 1920. "Vocotone" was the most common of their import labels.
