Now we know why we should stay away from Leblanc. It should be such a
simple answer - it obviously was not the customer's problem, but the
company leaves the customer holding their mistake.

You don't have to kiss $6,000 goodbye. You could always hire a good
attorney - who would take the case/complaint on consignment. You'll get
your clarinet - and a bit more if you do it right. The company might
settle rather than pay for a lawsuit.
