You can actually change the pitch with your tongue. It requires no
embouchure adjustment so your tone isn't destroyed. There is no way for me
to explain exactly how to do it. Experiment with different tongue positions
and see if you can get it. It worked great for me playing the Eb soprano in
Copland's "El Salon Mexico" with a gliss from high Bb down to Eb (it did
require a bit of finger work as well).
