I have always found that using very fast air will make hitting these notes
much easier. Speaking of extremely high notes, Dr. Robert Spring played the
first-recorded high F on his new CD, "Tarantelle." I don't know the
fingering though. I do know a short cut for playing high D. Simply overblow
a high G (traditional fingering like C# with the Eb key). On my R-13, it
nails the tuner.
