Hello!
In the band program I teach in we use The Standard of Excelence (Neil A.
Kjos Music Company), it covers just about everything. We just switched to
that book two years ago. Prior to that, we used Essential Elements (Hal
Leonard). I would suggest getting a hold of the local middle school band
directors to see what they use. I personlly don't care for Rubanks too
much. I usually put my lessons together from Klose. Good luck!
