Is anyone familiar with the book by Paul Jeanjean comprising six special
studies to render the fingers and tongue rapidly supple. It was published
in 1927. I have been told that it was intended for professional players as
a means of warming up and that the whole book would be played through in 15
minutes. As it has taken me three months to get to the end of the second
page, and there are 20 pages in the book, are there professionals around who
can rise to this 15 minute challenge or any comments about the studies
generally? If anyone knows where a copy can be bought please advise.
Regards,

Vincent Wallace.

My students and I get them from Eble Music in Iowa city all the time. Not
15 minutes though. It's great!
Chuck
