For those of you in the greater Los Angeles area, the Los Angeles Chamber
Orchestra will be performing Mozart's Serenade No. 10, K. 361 in Royce Hall
at UCLA tomorrow, Friday, at 8:00 pm and Saturday, February 17, at the Alex
Theater in Glendale, also at 8:00 p.m. The program includes Corelli's
Concerto Grosso in D, Opus 6, No. 7, and Tchaikovsky's Serenate for Strings.
Gary Gray is the principal clarinet and my teacher, Helen Goode-Castro will
be playing one of the basset horn parts. It should be a truly memorable
performance.
