I'm inclined to agree that like Tovey's Clarinet Sonata the
Trio is too long, too congested and not thoroughly successful.
I have an ancient tape of a broadcast of the Trio by Jack Brymer
It has not been recorded commercially as far as I know.
Tovey's Sonata has been recorded by Colin Bradbury,
John Denman and David Harman.
