These are indeed great studies to limber up the technique. It pretty much
works all of the fingers including alternate fingerings. I think getting
through it in 15 minutes is a bit optimistic. It is good to work them slowly
at first for evenness throughout, later adding speed. When they are under
the fingers it is a good idea to work them at half tempo and again at full
speed. Very challenging.
