For those of us who bemoan the paucity of good jazz clarinetting, please
allow me to forward the favor of a friend and turn you on to the Bob
Florence Limited Edition. They are a terrific big band! The arrangements
are tight, the playing fantastic, and ALL OF THE REED PLAYERS PLAY CLARINET!

I bopped my way to work this morning listening to their "Serendipity 18" CD.
The third track, titled "Bimbosity," features not one but two fine
clarinetists: Don Shelton and Terry Harrington. Whilst not a cutting
session, it's a tasty tune indeed. These guys can flat-out play.
