I forgot to mention in my previous post regarding the overtone
embouchure/airstream exercise, that subsequent to the initial sequence
commencing with low E, the same sequence should be repeated on each note as
you ascend chromatically through the chalumeau register.

In addition to the benefits I mentioned previously and those you have
noticed, it should enhance the focus/center of your tone.

As far as your squeaking problem, it can be caused by many things, amongst
which are an unbalanced &/or warped reed, mouthpiece rail defect/s, and the
possibility of simply more time needed practicing these ugly harmonic
exercises to strengthen the embouchure in order to control the larger sound
produced with more mouthpiece.
