'Is there a way to remove the faint white mineral deposits on a students
mouthpiece without harming it? I wouldn't want to soak it in something
that's going to damage the mouthpiece."
For the past couple of years I've been using a small amount of toothpaste on
a tooth-brush, lightly applied and rinsed off in water.
I figured if it worked in my mouth, it should work on the mouthpiece.
It is effective on both hard-rubber and timber mouthpieces, without
problems.
