Hi.
Sorry for the off-topic post, but can some of the US subscribers tell me if
vocal scores are available for the recent big Broadway (or London West End)
shows? I can't seem to find these in the UK, and am wondering whether these
are published, or whether the licensing company don't allow it.
I'm talking about shows like the recent Lloyd-Webbers (all post "Cats"), Les
Miserables, Little Shop of Horrors, etc. I know that most of these have a
"selected songs from..." book, but there are songs and
undescores/incidentals which didn't make it to these books.
If not, does anyone know why not? Study of Musical Theatre as a genre is
then restricted to Rogers & Hammerstein and that era, and can't cover the
more recent work...
Thanks
Ian
