To the gentleman whose granddaughter was being bullied at school:
You shouldn't have to do this because of bullying, but if it is an option,
one possibility would be to take the kid out of school and homeschool her.
She'd be out of the situation, and would most likely get a better education
than had she stayed in school.
I, too, was one of those kids who was bullied, both because I looked
different (crossed eyes) and I didn't fit in. I was in some music (I don't
want to talk about one of the teachers -- that is a whole different story),
but I think that I would have been better off both emotionally and
educationally if I had gotten out. (This was in a good school district.)
I hope things work out.
