Lucky you to have a Kanter! The one I bought never worked for me - or for
David Shifrin - but then Lynn Seward, now in the Air Force Band I think,
absolutely LOVED it - and bought it from me. If I had kept it, I could
have sold it last year for over $300.

You mean a new Chediville?

You have to start with the same blank to at least get a chance to make it
similar. Then the bore taper should be the same - and then the facing,
curve, tip, etc. should be the same......and then you play it and adjust
until it feels/sounds the same.

So to answer your question - the M13 probably won't do it - but you can try?
