I would try as many instruments as I could get my hands on. I would choose the
instrument that plays best for me. While I would personally prefer the feel and
look of silver over nickel plating, I wouldn't let that influence me. If the
pick of the litter turned out to be one in silver plating I would consider
myself fortunate. If not, I would go ahead and purchase that best playing one
and accept the fact that the finish was nickel.
