Well, I like the Vandoren reeds I've been using, but it just doesn't live up
to my expectations every now and then. And having only a few reeds work well
in a box of 10 doesn't make me too happy either. I just want reeds that play
well when I need it (well, I guess we all do). I guess I just got a little
tired of Vandoren reeds not working too well.

I was looking for new reeds because the vandoren reeds are getting a bit
weak for me. I was thinking about trying Vandoren 5 (is there a 4.5?), but I
thought I might try out other reeds while I'm at it. Maybe I should replace
my R-13 while I'm at it (it's 23 years old).

Well, I'll look at some of the reeds that were listed before and see what's
up.
