Yes - and mouthpiece/barrel choice has a bit to do with it as well. The
R13 has a low center on open G, first space F, and sometimes F#. This is
not a condition that is unique to the Greenline version of the R13 -
perhaps it is a testament to the level of engineering that such a pitch
issue is so consistent between them. It isn't always apparent on the
wooden counterpart - often due to other issues that skew the pitch in that
range.
