I bought a box of Zonda reeds as an experiment, and I like them.
I noticed that they don't have a straight cut across the shoulder (above
the curved cut which every reed has). I have no complaint since I like
the reeds, but I'm curious whether 'straight shoulder cut' vs. 'no
straight shoulder cut' is considered to be a significant distinction, or
is it more of a shrug-of-the-shoulders detail with no particular
significance?

Thanks,
Bill
