Make sure that embouchure is firm, but that you are not biting. Be
careful to tongue lightly, tip on tip, and use enough air support.
Assuming that you are doing all of that correctly, there are some
equipment issues that come to mind. First, check to see that there is
nothing obstructing the register vent. The second thing I would do is to
try some other mouthpieces, and see if that helps. (I personally have
difficulty articulating on the C85 series mouthpieces.) Another
possibility is that the register vent has a bore that is either too
small or is oddly shaped.
