Most likely the mike is too close to the clarinet and you need a separate
mike for the piano. If this is "state of the art" recording equipment you
should be able to mix the track that has the clarinet on it and the track
that has the piano on it (each recorded from their respective mikes) to get
a good balance. If there is only one track available for your taping, you
should be able to mix the two signals from the two mikes with an audio mixer
to get an acceptable balance. In any case, the key clattering is most
likely due to too close miking on the clarinet.
