I (along with the rest of us) feel very badly about this unfortunate
situation. It sounds like this person has been through a terrible ordeal
with the tooth as well as with the dentists. The only thing I can think of is
maybe capping the tooth or replacing it with an implant. I have a cap on my
front left and it has served me well. The tooth was cracked in an accident
when I was in my teens. It never botheres me to play, but a dentist told me
when I was in my 30's that it would eventually be a problem. He capped it
and it has worked well for years until I chipped the cap in another accident.
A dentist replaced the cap and it is doing fine. Best of luck. Hopefully
the dentists on this list can provide professional advice.
