to refresh, I requested opinions on the "Lyon C" soprano clarinet,
but not on any other clarinet. The responses are very illuminating.

1. people who use/used it...4...ALL positive*
2. people who know others who use/used it...2...ALL positive
3. people who never had any experience but had an opinion anyway...12...ALL
Negative
4. people who wanted to sell me their non-Lyon C Clarinets at list
price...3

*note: The positives normally indicated that Lyon C is good for learning,
informal
work, such as flute fill in or piano accompaniment in church, but serious
concert work should be done on one of the name brands.
