Dear Ginger,

If you have never tried any other mouthpieces it would be a very good idea
to do so. Otherwise, how would you know what is possible? You will
probably be amazed at the differences between them, and I bet you will find
that some of them improve your sound and control a lot. But you can't tell
unless you find a store or mail order dealer that will let you try a range
of them to find out how they differ.
