Subj: [kl] Advice on Lyon C Soprano clarinet
Date: Wed, 24 Jan 2001 18:00:24 -0500

hi!

Looking for basic Soprano C for use on C music, such as Flute, Piano, etc.
for quick non-transposing work. I see the "Lyon C" at under $300. USD less
than half others. Looks very intriguing. (Note: no interest in Orchestra,
competition, etc work.)

Question to which I would like to see response (email to:
mailto:terry@-----.org)
for confidential response.

Question 1: Do you use
/have used
/know someone who uses
/know someone who used
/none of the above, but have an opinion

Question 2: Did you find the Lyon C acceptable in tone and intonation?

Question 3: Where did you use it? Primary/Secondary School, recital,
competition,
ensemble, solos, orchestra?

Question 4: What is the value for the money? how does it compare to Noblet
C?

Question 5: Would you recommend it as a non-primary instrument.

thank you, confidential response to: mailto:terry@-----.org
